“Beautiful view. Pet Friendly. We stayed in the guest house. It was right off Hwy 13 including parking. Couldn’t hear traffic from inside though. It was on top of the hill looking out to Lake Superior. At bottom of motel property you can walk onto the trail Browntrail? It’s takes you along lake and into marina area and downtown. “We stay here once a year for the Apple Festival. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The location is wonderful, staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are so cozy and comfortable. It’s always quiet no matter how many people are around. Actually, everyone is alway so nice and chatty. The Landing is a great restaurant, little pricey, but great. We always get a city view. The breakfast is wonderful, so many choices. You can’t go wrong!! ”

“ This is a very nice, quiet property in a little quiet town. It is right on the lake, we recommend paying extra for the lake side. Lovely view! The room was a nice size with two sinks, one in the bathroom and one in the room. That made it easy to get ready in the morning. Breakfast is continental, but still offered quite a few things like cereal, bagels, yogurt and hard boiled eggs. Staff was friendly. “The property is on Lake Superior with a woodland walking path, and has fun art inside and out. The food is healthy and delicious, all the staff are so helpful and the free programing is great. And, of course, Bayfield has a lot to offer, from national parks to great gift stores to a relaxed vibe. The ferry ride to Madeline Island is a lot of fun. And picking fruit on the orchards overlooking the city is a bonus.”
